Background: Real Estate Operations & Client Care

Alicia began her real estate career in 2021 as a receptionist at RE/MAX Twin City in Kitchener, Ontario. She quickly discovered her passion for the industry and transitioned into the trades department, processing transactions and supporting agents. In time, she became the Office Coordinator, managing the reception and trades teams, implementing new processes, and coordinating brokerage events.

Her love for real estate began through her own personal experience buying and selling her first two homes. Alicia was highly involved in each step of the process and worked with an agent who inspired her to pursue a career in the field. Before real estate, she worked for the largest all-star cheerleading organization in the country as a Skills Manager and Worlds-level coach—an experience that strengthened her leadership and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments. She continues to coach cheerleading today, which remains an important part of her life.

After moving to Ottawa, Alicia’s experience and values ultimately led her to GoodStory, where she joined the team in August 2024. She was drawn to the team’s quality of work, the care they put into every detail, from thoughtful marketing to meaningful client events, and the way they handle every transaction as if it were their own. Their passion, pride, and client-first mindset align deeply with her own values. Being part of GoodStory has allowed Alicia to continue growing in a career she loves while contributing to a team that believes real estate is so much more than a transaction.
